As a couple we were doing the Camino de Santiago by bicycle and were able to store the bikes in the underground parking. Unfortunately the hotel charges a fee for the bicycle storage. The room was comfortable and quiet with a sofa sitting area. As in many hotels in Europe there is an absence of hooks from which one can hang articles of clothing. The bath (no enclosed shower) was ridiculous as you had to hold the wand with one hand soap with the other and of course there was no shower curtain (water everywhere). The bath and shower are separate and both require a step as they are elevated. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of hot and cold items. Compliments to all the staff in the breakfast area as well as the front desk we were warmly received. We recommend and would definitely repeat.

The staff were excellent, very helpful both before and during our booking. Our room had a very comfortable, huge bed, good shower over the bath. There was a very nice, private terrace with a table, chairs and sunbeds. Sadly the weather was so bad, we couldn't use it! The room had a kettle and a fridge, which were much appreciated. The spa was great. I was able to arrange a much needed massage at late notice after a long day's walk. The massage was very good. Breakfast was good, but the breakfast room was a bit of a rugby scrum! The hotel is close to the centre of Ancora, close to restaurants and shops.

The hotel is in the centre of the village, right on the Camino and very close to the beach. I had a very comfortable, very clean and spacious room with a patio, furnished with a table, 2 chairs and 2 sun loungers. It was very hot during my stay and there is air conditioning available but I chose to sleep with the patio door open. I didn’t use the swimming pool as I went to the beach and bathed in the sea. The buffet breakfast is excellent. The reception, restaurant and bar staff are very friendly and helpful and they make you feel very welcome.

We booked this hotel for our Camino. Straight away as we stepped in the hotel we felt that it was a special place. The receptionist was very welcoming. Our room was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the balcony where we could easily dry our clothes. We appreciated that the receptionist offered to get the sauna ready for us which was a lovely treat after a long day of walking. We even had dinner at the hotel and the bar tender was extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was also very nice and there was good selection of options

Great breakfast buffet, especially if you’re doing the Camino you can have a great breakfast before walking. Very helpful staff. Appreciated the fact the lady that checked us in could see how tired we were and actually took our luggage up to our rooms. Hotel was very busy and fully booked. There’s a pool and sauna so great place to stay after doing the walk. It’s also close to the track so the following day when you need to continue the walk it’s very easy. It’s also right next to a grocery store so again handy to buy water.
